Policies and General Information

Viewing Room Policies

Our viewing area is small, and it is located in the front entrance.

NO PHOTOGRAPHY IS PERMITTED FROM THIS AREA – There are other children in the gym who you do not have permission to photograph.  Parent viewing week is the last week of the session where you will be given the opportunity to take photographs and videos of your child.  If you disregard this rule, you may be asked to leave the gym until class is over.

Children must be supervised at all times in the viewing area.  There are some toys provided to help keep young children entertained during your viewing time.

Please refrain from speaking with your child during class.  It is disruptive to the coaches and other students, and can become a safety issue when children are not paying attention to their class.

Parents and siblings are not permitted on the gym floor.

You may bring food into the viewing area,ea but it must be free of peanuts/nuts.
Anyone eating in the viewing area must clean up after themselves
There is a broom/dust pan and cleaning wipes available for use, located by the cubbies.

Class Policies and Requirements

Class days and times are subject to change due to registration numbers and at the discretion of the club.

Class space is limited; registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Registrations are not considered confirmed until registration is completed and payment is received/arranged.

RR Gymnastics reserves the right to remove participants based on behaviour, safety concerns, or conflicts of interest.

Parent and Tot: cell phone use is not permitted during classes, and parents must actively coach/participate with their child during the class.

Gymnastics equipment may not be used unless under coach supervision. Only students and staff may enter the gym area; parents may not enter the gym area due to insurance liability (except for parent and tot).

Students must be fully bathroom independent to attend class without a parent/guardian present.  If your child requires assistance, you must remain on site during their class time to assist as needed.

Evaluations

Students will be evaluated using a modified version of the CanGym badge system consisting of 12 badge levels.  Evaluations will begin in our Beginner gymnastics and trampoline classes.
Children under the age of 5 will receive ability evaluations to show parents what they have learned and been working on all session.
